Autauga County Schools serves nearly 10,000 meals across the district every day! The district's cafeterias prepare approximately 3,500 breakfasts and 6,000 lunches each weekday as a part of the USDA's National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program and under the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP). This program allows all students to enjoy free breakfasts and lunches. No applications or additional information is required for students to participate.

Students may enjoy full meals every school day or supplement meals from home with vitamin-rich foods such as fruit, vegetables, and milk. In addition to a different hot meal each weekday, many of the district's cafeterias offer additional menu offerings, such as lunchable-style option with prepackaged Smucker's Uncrustables or ham and/or turkey sandwiches, and salads or a salad bar, providing a variety of options for even the pickiest of eaters, including the students who consistently bring their lunch to school.

School cafeterias even offer a "share table," which is a designated area where students can place unwanted, unopened food or drink items that are safe to eat for others. As a sustainability initiative, the district's cafeterias experience less food waste by giving students the opportunity to grab additional items from friends instead of having the items thrown away.

Menus are subject to change without notice.
